“The Restu Global Quranic Arts Festival (ReGQAf) is a platform for us to share what we have and what has been produced by Yayasan Restu for the general public. Yayasan Restu has been active for over 23 years in disseminating the Quran and Islamic arts. We promote Islamic arts under one umbrella, combining calligraphy, architecture in terms of motifs, and more, including Islamic art education under the name Restu International College,” explained Yayasan Restu General Manager Muhammad Fadli Ismail.

“We have also been invited to exhibit in various locations, such as New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, and others.”
Established in 1987, Yayasan Restu serves as a prominent hub for Islamic arts, located at the Selangor International Islamic Arts Complex in Shah Alam. Internationally recognised, the foundation specialises in producing Quran manuscripts, calligraphy, and Islamic cultural motifs. The Nasyrul Quran Complex in Putrajaya is the world’s second-largest Quran production centre, offering exhibition galleries and skills training spaces.
ReGQAF, organised by Yayasan Restu and Nasyrul Quran, aims to promote Islam as part of a lifestyle while encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of Quranic teachings through artistic mediums. The festival encompasses diverse programmes and activities, such as exhibitions, Quran conventions, discussions, Islamic education courses, Qasidah recitations, children’s activities, and more.-
