“We will organise the Ramadan Conference. We are inviting two international speakers to Malaysia to discuss two separate topics,” said Faith Events Asia Founder and CEO Khairul Amar Razali.
“The first one is about how the spirit of Ramadan can be sustained outside of Ramadan. And the second one is how challenges we face throughout life can bring us closer to our Creator within the spirit of Ramadan. We believe that events like these are essential because Ramadan is the month when Muslims strive to become as close as possible to Allah, and one of the ways to achieve this is through learning and self-education.
“We believe this would be a good opportunity for travellers and people from other countries to come. Not just to fast, not just to enjoy the iftar with lovely halal food in Malaysia, but also to gather like-minded people to learn and improve themselves within the spirit of Ramadan.”
Faith Events Asia conducts a thorough market survey when choosing speakers for events in Malaysia, ensuring the topics are relevant to the local context. Amar stressed that all Faith Events Asia programmes were conducted in English, drawing participants from local and international communities. He emphasised the events’ focus on spirituality, faith, and education. Since its inaugural event in April 2022, Faith Events Asia has organised nearly 45 events with an attendance of approximately 50,000 participants.
Among the international speakers and religious scholars Faith Events previously brought in were Nouman Ali Khan, Mufti Menk, Dr Muhammad Salah, and Wael Ibrahim. – RnR
