The pandemic gave OMC a new drive to bring in more medical and pharmaceutical solutions to Saudi Arabia
When the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world in 2020, the medical and pharmaceutical industries were not nearly as prepared as they should have been in terms of supplies and potential treatments.
During that period, Al Ossol Medical Trading Co (OMC) of Saudi Arabia dealt with significant supply chain difficulties. Post-pandemic, OMC CEO Nader Abu Muaileq said it was the company’s goal to be better prepared for another disaster.
Since its establishment in 2008, OMC’s primary mission has been to introduce cutting-edge technology, authorised medications, and specialised pharmaceuticals to the Saudi Arabian market. The company has brought more than a dozen businesses to the Saudi Arabian market, focusing on providing medical and pharmaceutical services.
OMC represents several companies, including a local manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, European corporations in France and Italy, and Asian companies in China and India. They are considered the largest companies in their respective regions.
“We aim to bring the best and latest technology to the region that specialises in the laboratory and medical devices, in the pharma industry and engineering.
“We plan to bring all these companies to our region, and we hope we can form a partnership and go into localisation in the private and public sectors”.

Sansure’s iPonatic S-Q36A POCT rapid-testing device was developed independently by Sansure to overcome the limitations of professional laboratories by integrating nucleic acid extraction, amplification testing, and data processing. – The Health
