The 1RAS 1Pokok Campaign was also launched by Sarawak Energy and the Department of Environment (DOE) Sarawak on Earth Day 2022.

The Ramin Telor/Ramin Melawis tree is critically endangered, and the company has worked with UNIMAS and Forest Department Sarawak (FDS) to protect it through the Ramin Conservation and Restoration Project.

This fits the company’s intention to plant and/or protect half a million Sarawak trees between 2021 and 2030 as part of a 10-year, company-wide integrated tree-planting campaign.
